Located just outside the capital Kota Kinabalu, the Kiulu Valley provides groups with the chance to explore beautiful jungle, plantations, villages and rivers which are home to a great range of wildlife.
Blessed with fertile soil, this part of Borneo has plenty of cultivation, particularly with produce such as rubber and rice.
Groups can take a dip in the refreshing Kiulu River which feeds the region after a day of exploring the area and working in the community. Those trekking into the forests can learn jungle survival skills and be educated on the different uses of certain plants, such as their medicinal benefits.
On this trip, students will assist in scientific research and conservation efforts for some of Borneo's marine species before exploring the flourishing jungles of the Kiulu Valley.
