A message for teachers and parents
With the UK Government establishing a return to international travel, for many schools we are speaking with, the prospect of running an overseas adventure has become more certain for 2023 and beyond.
Naturally, the safety of all our groups remains our priority and we will continue to cap the capacity of our most popular destinations, but are liaising with schools and colleges about running new trips in 2023 which we envisage to be at full capacity once more.
Is my school trip going to take place as planned?
We remain committed to operating all school trips scheduled to depart in 2023 and are continuing to assess each of our bookings – prioritised by date of departure – to ensure that we are using the most up-to-date and relevant Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice and industry guidance.
We will work closely with all schools to provide options in line with the guidance for international travel and make a final assessment of the viability of each trip based upon FCDO advice between eight and four weeks prior to departure.
What happens if Schools Worldwide cancel my 2023 trip?
If we cancel your 2023 trip, we will provide you with a full refund if a postponement or move to an alternative destination is not possible.
Will I be covered by my travel insurance if I decide to cancel?
It is essential that your school has a comprehensive travel insurance in place for the entire group and that it includes cover for COVID-19. If you wish to cancel your school‘s entire booking or your place on a school trip please check with the insurance provider of your trip if you wish to make a claim as your cover will depend on the terms of the policy.
Where can I check for up-to-date travel information and requirements for my destination?
