As one of Northern India’s most renowned and largest national parks, Ranthambore is home to a wide range of wildlife including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild boar, rhesus macaque and chital.

Ranthambore is one of the country's leading tiger reserves. Since Project Tiger started in 1973, numbers have steadily been increasing, and the park now offers excellent opportunities to see - and learn about - these magnificent mammals during the day on wildlife trucks or canters.

As well as tiger safaris, Ranthambore is a great location for exploring birdlife with over 300 species of birds being found here such as parakeets, painted storks, eagles and egrets.

Also home to a hilltop fort and several ruins, this 392 square kilometre park has become a famous heritage site and offers a wide range of opportunities for many to learn and enjoy.
