Our Team

Nick created Schools Worldwide in the late 1990s, which he founded after an extensive period of travel heightened his fascination with diverse cultures, wildlife and extreme environments. Despite helping to run all aspects of the business, Nick still manages to personally lead specialist itineraries – especially to Namibia, his favourite country.

A leader on over 30 expeditions, Kirsty has a wealth of experience and is an advisor on operational safety for all overseas trips we run at Schools Worldwide. A fully qualified International Mountain Leader, Kirsty’s technical ‘know how’ ensures that all trips have been expertly checked and signed off before departing the UK. Kirsty also leads several trips a year for us and is often found in highest parts of the world!

Doniert is our medical advisor, and has extensive experience of health issues which can sometimes occur whilst on expeditions. His background is in emergency medicine and orthopaedics and, as well as working with the Schools Worldwide team, he works part-time as a consultant for hospital emergency departments.

Probably the most widely travelled of all the team, Chris founded Wildlife Worldwide in 1992, the first of The Natural Travel Collection’s seven brands, of which Schools Worldwide is one. He started out managing a lodge and working as a safari guide in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley, is well known throughout the industry, and an inexhaustible font of travel knowledge.

After many years working in travel, Teresa branched out in 2000 to form Dive Worldwide, one of our other key brands under The Natural Travel Collection banner, of which Schools Worldwide is part of. She is a lover of wild things and far flung places, and takes as much time as she can to enjoy the wilderness and all that is in it.
