Hosting the same wildlife as the larger and busier neighbouring parks, Luambe National Park offers a quieter and more serene safari experience for groups wishing to get the most from Zambia.

As one of the oldest protected areas in Zambia, the park has a rich history of conservation and research, offering a prime location for students wanting to gain a better understanding of this amazing ecosystem.

During a visit to the park, there are opportunities to assist rangers and researchers in gathering data (including setting up camera traps), learning how to work in the bush and, of course, encounter some stunning wildlife. There are also options to visit local villages and learn how the day-to-day lives of the villagers is affected by the wildlife and what they are doing to not only protect their livelihoods, but also conserve the local animal populations.
