Schools Worldwide Sales Executive
On target earnings £27,000 per annum (uncapped)
Schools Worldwide is a leading overseas adventure travel company who work with schools, colleges and youth groups to provide young people with "Education by Experience".
We have an opportunity for an experienced target-driven Sales Executive to join our team to sell our portfolio of worldwide Expedition, Explorer, Adventure and Fieldtrek itineraries.
Schools Worldwide is experiencing an increasing demand for its services and this exciting role will see you maintaining existing relationships, developing new sales leads and identifying new potential markets. You must be highly organised and extremely motivated to work both autonomously and as part of a tightly bonded team.
Responsible for all Schools Worldwide sales, you will have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for youth travel and outdoor adventure. Importantly, you will have the ability to relate to young people and inspire them, have a caring and understanding approach to parents and a professional and dedicated ethic to all aspects of working with teachers.
You will be confident, polite, knowledgeable and presentable in appearance and have an excellent level of presentation skills. You will need a high level of written and verbal communication skills, with regular experience of making presentations.
Though our ideal candidate would be located in the London area, this is by no means essential, as this is a home-based regional sales role and we would employ the best candidate for the role, regardless of their location in the UK. From Kent to Northumbria, Gwynedd to Yorkshire, travel throughout the UK will be required and regular meetings at our head offices in Hampshire will be part of the role. Though most presentations will need to be made in the evenings, the company runs a policy of time off in lieu.
We are part of an organisation that has a strong commitment to staff development and overseas travel opportunities will be a part of this role. We also offer career development opportunities and an enhanced performance related bonus.
Closing date for applications 10th August
Anticipated start date is early October.
