Walking/Trekking Specialist

We are looking for someone who is passionate about walking and trekking with worldwide travel experience. Travel industry experience is desired but not essential.

The right candidate must be a motivated self-starter who enjoys working towards and achieving monthly sales targets. You'll be articulate, outgoing with excellent written English and grammar. The job requires resilience and hard work but naturally rewards those who possess such traits. Previous sales experience is beneficial as this will help you to start earning commission more quickly, however we are also keen to nurture raw talent.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in a customer service capacity, but if you have a passion for walking and trekking and a hard-working personality, we want to hear from you.

Training will be tailor-made in line with your experience.

Who are we?

Walks Worldwide is recognised as one of the country's leading independent tour operators (and highly commended runner up in this year's Wanderlust Travel Awards). You will be working as a key part of our team at the heart of our small, friendly office. Our team comprises a diverse group of experts from all walks of life and there will be plenty of opportunities to practice what we preach.

Where are we?

Our office is located in a barn conversion office in picturesque surroundings on the edge of the South Downs National Park. Those passionate about walking will find the area ideal with a two national parks nearby and miles of open countryside surrounding the office.

What is the package?

You will be rewarded with a basic salary commensurate with experience; alongside uncapped commission awarded for every booking you make (OTE - £28,000 - £30,000). We offer on the job training with further opportunities for development and overseas travel opportunities.
