U.K Support

Once groups have left the U.K, safety is our Number 1 priority and we make sure the all the necessary back-up and support is in place should an emergency occur.

  • 24 hour emergency back-up

Schools Worldwide operate a staff 'Duty' rota system in the UK, ensuring that a member of the UK team is available to respond to an emergency call 24 hours a day.

  • Crisis Management Plan

We have a comprehensive Crisis Management Plan that has been written and prepared in two parts. Part I details the process for our Duty Management System, this is the 24hr emergency number that groups and schools have access to throughout their entire trip (and is the first filter for deciding what level of crisis an incident is).

Part II deals with the escalation of an incident or the immediate response to a serious crisis. Together the documents provide clear guidance for the roles and responsibilities of the members of staff involved with responding to an incident, including checklists of the work that needs to be done, by whom and when. The company carries out training in Crisis Management twice a year, when both documents are reviewed and updated.
