Tailor-made School Trips "Education by Experience"
Namibia Tropic of Cap

Do you want to create your own itinerary? Well you've come to the right company as all of our trips are your trips.

You may want to choose certain elements of a destination, incorporate particular learning objectives, develop activities to enhance your pupils personal skills, you may want to exclude certain elements of the cost that we normally include (such as a Schools Worldwide Leader), or even book your own flights and have us provide you with a "Land Only" itinerary option...

Whatever your needs, our speciality and popularity comes from our approach to tailor-making school trips. This allows you the freedom and flexibility to travel how, when and where you want to go, but also provides you with the reassurance that you know exactly what your going to get, before the trip is sold!

To guide you through the possibilities available in each destination, we provide A4 fact sheets for each of the destinations we offer (you can download these from each destination page of our website). These fact sheets are designed to give you an introduction to each country and an idea of the possibilities.

Our Top Five destinations:

Otavalo market, Ecuador

We specialise in Namibia as a destination, not just because of its scenic beauty, but also because of our strong working partnership with rural community schools, where we run education projects, but also with rangers, national parks and animal centres who provide fantastic locations for a Biology Fieldtrek.

India provides a spectacular cultural and physically demanding setting for a school expedition in the High Altitude region of Ladakh, where the Zanskar range of the Himalaya hides the Markha Valley, one the most challenging treks we create for schools.

Schools looking for a short haul mini expedition usually head to Morocco. A year round destination, the country provides superb arid environments in the Jebel Sahro during our autumn and winter and stunning mountain scenery in the High Atlas Mountains or Mgoun Massif for a spring or summer trip.

Our Biology Fieldtreks to South Africa have grown in popularity, not just because the country provides superb opportunities for game viewing and Biological studies but also because it is relatively cost effective and provides a exciting and adventurous year round itineraries.

Peru has become one of our major destinations, not only because of the country's Inca attractions, such as Macchu picchu, but also because the trekking routes we offer are in some of the most stunning, and less trodden regions the destination offers.

Tailor made case study:

A repeat school contacted us after a successful trip to Namibia, wanting to create a return visit to Africa in 2011. Their main requirements were that they wanted to see as much of a region as possible, mix game viewing with cultural visits, but also provide the group with some real natural scenic highlights and, importantly, experience a wide variety of terrains and landscapes.

Schools Worldwide developed a 3 week itinerary that travelled from South Africa to Namibia, via the Makgadikgadik Salt Pans, Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park in Botswana, the Victoria Falls in Zambia and finally Etosha National Park, Damaraland and the Skeleton Coast of Namibia.
