Residential First Aid Training course
Safety is the No.1 priority of Schools Worldwide and we have teamed up with First Aid Academy to run two comprehensive residential First Aid Training courses to introduce, refresh or enhance the skills and abilities of our leaders and teachers.
"Certificate in Outdoor Emergency First Aid and Incident Management"
This nationally recognised course focuses on the training of wilderness and remote first aid techniques. It is accredited by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and is listed on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) at Level 2.
The course validates several NGB awards including those run by the Mountain Leader Training Board, British Association of International Mountain Leaders, British Canoe Union and the Royal Yachting Association.
Every adult that travels overseas with young people holds a very responsible position and if you do not already hold a valid 16hr First Aid certificate, we strongly recommend that you undergo this training prior to departure.
We are currently finalising the 2010 course dates, but if you would like to provisionally register your interest, please telephone us on 0845 634 4670.
If you are unable to attend one of our courses you may wish to book yourself onto one of the many non-residential courses that First Aid Academy run throughout the country. All teachers and Leaders travelling with Schools Worldwide will receive a 10% discount from their normal course price. See - www.firstaidacademy.co.uk.
