  • Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge
    Throughout 2009 we are undergoing an independent assessment under the Expedition Providers Association Code of Practice to be awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge for running overseas expeditions, accredited by the Department for Children Schools and Families.
  • Expedition Providers Association
    As members of the Expedition Providers Association and the Young Explorers Trust, we are required to adhere to a set of guidelines governing adventurous overseas trips.
  • Qualifications
    All Schools Worldwide staff involved with the planning of itineraries have been trained in the OCR Level 3 Certificate in Off-site Safety Management.
  • DfES
    The trips we develop follow the guidelines of the three-part Practical Guide for Health & Safety of Pupils on Educational Visits, by the DfES
  • ATOL
    Schools Worldwide is part of a fully bonded and licensed travel agent and tour operator, who hold an Air Travel Organisers' Licence (ATOL) granted by the Civil Aviation Authority to protect your money should we go out of business. We are also an accredited IATA agent, allowing us to issue scheduled flight tickets ourselves. Also, as a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), an Association approved by BIS, Schools Worldwide has provided a Bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. In the event of Schools Worldwide's insolvency, this Bond provides security for: · non-flight inclusive packages commencing in and returning to the UK; and · packages excluding flights to and from your destination which are offered by Schools Worldwide.
