Acclimatising in Henri Pittier National Park, groups will then either focus on the south of the country, visiting Canaima and the Gran Sabanah to trek the majestic Mount Roraima before witnessing the incredible Angel Falls. Alternatively head to the Sierra Nevada, where the Andean chain makes its final stretch across the continent and where groups will make a traverse of its highest range finishing by rafting in the pristine lowlands of Los Llanos.

    As an Explorer School you will travel to a harsher environment than those featured in our Adventure programmes and undertake a lengthy trek and optional activities, such as a project, to gain a full introduction to a diverse culture.
  • Experience required:
    A high level of fitness, an appreciation of the outdoor environment and interest with encountering a new culture.
  • Age of group:
    Would best suit Yr 11+ (16yrs).
  • Duration:
    13 - 15 days.
