Peru Explorer Programmes
During an explorer programme in Peru you will travel to the former Inca capital of Cusco to delve into their ancient customs. You will continue your itinerary, tackling the famous Inca trail as it leads you along the steep sided Sacred Valley to reach the hidden city of Machu Picchu. Having investigated the Inca fortress, you will end your Peruvian exploration with a journey to Lake Titicaca, where you can visit the famous floating Uros islands.

The Explorer Programme:
As an Explorer School you will travel to a harsher environment than those featured in our Adventure programmes and undertake a lengthy trek and optional activities, such as a project, to gain a full introduction to a diverse culture. -
Experience required:
A high level of fitness, an appreciation of the outdoor environment and interest with encountering a new culture. -
Age of group:
Would best suit Yr 11+ (16yrs). -
Duration:
13 - 15 days. -
